“From Ground Zero” presents 22 diverse stories by filmmakers from Gaza, filmed under extremely difficult and complex conditions amidst bombings and great risks to the filmmakers’ lives. Through these stories, the filmmakers share their personal experiences or others’ narratives of the brutal aggression by Israeli occupation forces, recounting loss of their homes, families, and displacements.
These short films combine elements of fiction, documentary, and animation.
