The film narrates the tragic reality of the two friends Shatila and Reda, two Palestinian refugees from Ain al-Hilweh who are stranded in Athens and dream of escaping to northern Europe and a better life.
After a result of a scam and losing their money allocated for their immigration, the two friends fall into a deception and are drawn into a series of unexpected events to recoup their fund.
At the end, Shatila finds himself forced to choose between his freedom or his friendship with Reda.
